aimvet.chAIM-Vet’s e-consulting includes e-consultations (email or telephone contact with the owner), e-monitoring (monitoring of chronic diseases by phone or email) and e-expertise (support to the attending veterinarian). All of our prices are available on request by email or via the contact form.
Specialized e-consultations are offered by AIM-Vet, through the referring veterinarian, in order to avoid unnecessary travel.
The medical data are sent by email, generally by the referring veterinarian, and, after studying the file, an in-depth questionnaire is carried out by phone with the owner. The objective of these e-consultations is to determine, with the help of the referring veterinarian, the optimal course of the diagnostic strategy. This type of consultation can in no case lead to the prescription of a new treatment, which requires having seen the animal beforehand.
For the follow-up of a chronic disease such as chronic inflammatory enteropathy, anemia of immune origin, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism (…), e-monitoring can be set up, if the clinical course of the animal is favorable.
In some cases, a full specialist consultation is not necessary. AIM-Vet can provide his support, his expertise, to the referring veterinarian to list diagnostic hypotheses, interpret analyzes, advise the rest of the diagnostic process or offer a therapeutic plan.
A summary sheet for a given disease, taking into account recent data from the literature, can also be drawn up by AIM-Vet at the request of the referring veterinarian: autoimmune hemolytic anemia, asthmatic bronchitis in cats, angiostrangylosis, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency , hyperthyroidism, autoimmune arthritis, myasthenia gravis, …
